Don Ice, Consultant

After studying business at the University of Toledo, Don Ice began his career with Owens-Illinois, the largest glass container company in the world. He held numerous management jobs over 30 years:

1957 - 1980, Held supervisory positions in Computer Operations
1980 - 1989, Acted as Computer Operations Manager
1989 - 1993, Named Director of Information Systems
1993 - 1997, Named Vice President and CIO

As Director of Information Systems, Mr. Ice oversaw Operations, Application Development, Security and World Wide WAN and LAN operations.

During the period of 1993 - 1995, Mr. Ice directed the implementations of a bar code scanning business application in 35 glass container manufacturing plants within the domestic United States, which allowed for real time inventory control and order entry processing and delivery to some of the largest brewery bottle filling companies and baby food processors in the United States.

Mr. Ice retired from O-I in 1997 and continued his service as a consultant until 2000, when he accepted a position as Vice President of Operations for Intelidata, an internet-based bill-payment software development company.

Mr. Ice is currently serving as Vice President of KII Telecommunications Partners. He is a member of the KII Board and has served on the Management Committee since 1989.
